Ed Keith

Ed started working with clay as a teaching medium in Scarborough schools 40 years ago and has continued his personal exploration of its many wonders through classroom work and workshops for students and adults. Working in art camp situations for numerous years allowed for opportunities to experience outdoor firings unique to the production of Raku pottery, a field in which he continues to develop new techniques and rewarding results. Upon retirement from the Toronto District School Board, Ed was offered the opportunity to teach Sculpture and Raku pottery at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, which he has been involved with for the past nine years.
