Grace has always been interested in the creative arts, and pursued her interest in watercolour painting when she retired. Sources of inspiration for her work consist of images from the Halliburton Highlands where her family roots reach back to the early pioneers and her travels abroad. Grace has exhibited her landscapes and florals in many juried shows

• 1991 to present - Haliburton School of Fine Art. Courses in watercolours, and Japanese ink painting (Sumi-e)  

• 1992 to present - Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, Open Studio

• 1997 to 2002 - Loyalist College Bridgewater Retreat

• 1996 to 1997 - Elderhostel Program including watercolour workshops at Killarney, Ontario and Comox, British Columbia

• 1996 - Capilano College Centre, Estival des Arts de Montagut le blanc, France

• 1994 to 1996 - Buckhorn School of Fine Art
