About the artist

This award winning artist has studied art since childhood. He Feels his greatest motivations come from fellow artists and peers in the community.

In 2004 Steve went to the Charlevoix region in Quebec on a painting expedition with fellow artists (Most of whom are with the studio tour). He came back with a new passion for art, inspired by the rolling landscape and the richness of art in the region.

In 2005 Steve along with Ray McNiece and Margaret Grandison, went to Nova Scotia on a painting trip. The scenery of the Cabot trail and the whole of Cape Breton, and the life-force of Halifax was a real rejuvenator for his art after a long and busy year. (he recently Married)

He continues to progress and evolve in his work for one basic reason, The pleasure of creating art.
