Joan Chalmers is an honour graduate and scholarship
winner of "Northern Tech's" 4 year art course.
She has also studied with several well known Canadian
and American Artists and completed numerous art and
photography courses at "Seneca College",
"Kodak of Canada" and "Nikon". She
has worked for several large art studios and advertising
agencies.
Joan has won first prize in the "north York
Lions Club Show" and the "FWIC"
provincial and National competitions. Her painting was
the chosen purchase of the "SOYRA" show by
"York Region". She has exhibited in the
"Terrace Gallery", Yorkville, "The
Scandinavian Club", Toronto, and libraries in
Toronto & York Region. Her Artwork also appears in
Private Collections in Britain, Spain, Portugal, U.S.
and Canada.
